  • Vietnam visa on arrival at one of Vietnam’s international airports
Getting your Vietnam visa stamped on arrival in the country at one of Vietnam’s international airports is by far the easiest and most time efficient way of entering the country.
The visa on arrival is officially issued by the Vietnam Immigration Department (a Vietnamese Government Agent) and has the same validity as a visa obtained from a Vietnamese Embassy/Consulate. This type of visa is only valid for entry into the country via one of the international airports (Noi Bai airport in Hanoi; Cat Bi airport in Hai Phong City; Phu Bai airport in Hue City; Da Nang airport in Da Nang City; Cam Ranh airport in Nha Trang City; Tan Son Nhat airport in Ho Chi Minh City; Phu Quoc airport in Phu Quoc Island).
You can obtain your Vietnam visa approval letter from Vietnam Pro Travel and we are proud to be one of the first travel agencies in Vietnam offering the Vietnam visa on arrival service for travelers.
Instead of spending hours travelling to a Vietnam Embassy and then waiting in long queues, our service offers you the chance to get your Vietnam visa approval letter in minutes from the comfort of your own home, ahead of a trip of a lifetime to Vietnam.

  • What is a Vietnam visa approval letter?
A Vietnam visa approval letter grants you access to Vietnam to enter and exit the country for a given period of time. The letter means you can enter Vietnam by any of the country’s international airports and get your visa stamped by the immigration officers at the airport. The visa approval letter is issued by the Vietnam Immigration Department, which is a Vietnam Government Agency. A copy of the approval letter is also sent to the Immigration checkpoints at each of the international airports (Noi Bai airport in Hanoi, Tan Son Nhat airport in Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang airport and Cam Ranh airport in Nha Trang) so the officials will be able to stamp your visa with the minimum level of hassle, as they already have all your details on their system.
Before they issue a visa approval letter the Vietnam Immigration Department checks and screens the application very carefully and strictly. This means all the checks have been carried out prior to you receiving the approval letter, so there is no chance you will be refused entry when you reach Vietnam.

Where do I get my visa from when I arrive at the airport in Vietnam?
Landing at a foreign airport after a long journey can be a daunting experience, but don’t worry finding the visa office is very simple. Once you enter the airport and are on your way to the baggage reclaim keep an eye out for signs saying ‘Landing Visa’ or ‘Visa Upon Arrival’ office.
Depending on the amount of people arriving at the same time as you needing a visa on arrival, there may be a queue. As a rough guide it usually takes between 15 and 30 minutes to get through. To speed up the process just make sure that you have all the required documents ready and easily accessible. Then when it is your turn just hand the documents to the immigration official and wait to get your passport back with your Vietnam visa stamped. Then you’re ready to go! Just don’t forget to pick up your baggage before you rush out of the airport!
